Golden Week

Right now is a time called Golden Week in Japan. Its 4 national holidays all in one week, so they just let the entire working population off for the whole time. So far its been great but I haven't really had time to do much blogging because I have 3 guys staying with me, so space is a little tight.

We went to a place called 48 waterfalls on Wednesday. Its a day hike where up into a gorge.

This is the town where we started, its about 1 hour from osaka. Nothing but rice fields all around.

On the bottom is John and Hanna, Hanna is from this area.





Great view of the gorge. It took us about 4 hours to do the whole hike.

This was a cool part. The whole forest was covered in Moss.
