I went back to the States for Christmas which was awesome.
First made my way to Tokyo to hang with my buddy Tucker. Saw Shibuya which is the busiest crosswalk in the world.
Lost my suitcase in Tokyo, that sucked.
Slubbs and I at the LeBron game in Dallas.
Came back to Japan. Had the worst homesickness/culture shock of my life. It took me about a week to get back into Japan mode. I don't know why it hit so hard but it really took me by surprise.Went to Spa World with my buddies. Its a 10 story indoor hot sauna. Sorry though couldn't take pictures cause its all nude... Guys only floor...
Went on a hike in Nara when is snowed.
Bike was stolen...Fell asleep on the train and woke up 2 hours later in Kyoto with no ipod...
Going snowboarding this weekend...
Found out my contract is being renewed so I will be in Japan for the present future...
Now for my political rant for the week....
I'm not sure if the news has hit America, but a US Marine was arrested for raping a 13 year old girl in Okinawa this week. Its a tragedy and maybe if it was an isolated thing we could blow it off as one random crazy guy. However I read this article in Mainichi Daily News this today...

I just wanted to share with anyone who reads this how much this embarrasses me as an American living in Japan. I can't even imagine the riots that would ensue if something of this nature were to happen in America at the hands of a foreign occupation. I'm not suggesting a solution, all I'm saying is it really really makes me mad, and I hope it does you too.

It's shocking to me that you had your bike AND ipod stolen. Japan has one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

I cant believe you're going snowboarding- that is going to be AWESOME! you'll have to take LOTs of pictures.
