Still no camera charger

I've been to cheap to buy the camera charger that the guy in Osaka wanted 5000 yen for ($45). So since my camera went dead while snowboarding last week, I haven't been able to take any new pictures to put up on the blog.

Since I finished taking my GMAT I've kind of had too much free time on my hands. Plus its too cold to go hiking so I've been spending too much time sitting in my apartment watching movies and TV shows.

A couple of things I've done lately:
1. Went to a sushi restaurant which had a bullet train instead of a conveyor belt. So you order your food and this small train comes along a track to your table with the plates sitting on it.
2. Had a party at my co-workers girlfriend's parents restaurant (was that grammar correct?). The food was Nabe (think boiled vegetables and meat). It was a fun afternoon of food and talking.

However in the next couple of weekends I'm going snowboarding again, and going to my first sumo match. So I think I'm gonna be forced to buy the camera charger. New pictures soon!

But in the mean time I thought I'd give you link to my buddy Davids flickr page. He's a casual photographer but I think a lot of his pictures really capture a part of Japan that mine can't. If you have time, check them out and maybe you'll get an insight into why I sometimes like this country so much. (But after going to 2 locations to try to renew my visa and finding them both closed, I can also really hate this place)
