Snowboarding

Its the end of winter start of spring here. Tugg and I decided to try and snowboard for the day because most of the slopes are still open. Plus we had a buy one get one free lift ticket from our rental car company.

We rented our gear drove 30 km outside of town to get to the bottom of the life yesterday, only to have them tell us they had closed the slopes due to high winds. Luckily our the rental shop let us keep the stuff an extra day. So we headed back up today.

Here are some pics. The trails are all above the tree line, so they aren't very long. Also it was hot so the snow turned to slush by the afternoon. But it was a great day of boarding for the most part. Also the view of the lake at the bottom was prob the coolest view I've ever boarded in front of.
